Task 1: Take the technology survey on the Useful links page.
Task 2: Start your own page for you and your partner.
The heading should state the topic on Japanese culture you are researching (check with me first in class to avoid pairs doing the same topic).
Don't forget your names and other relevant information on your topic, such as links, clips, images, etc.
This is where you will upload your finished product after your in-class presentation.
Try this for uploading your powerpoint presentations to your page:
Your wiki is on our K-12 plan. You can upload files that are 20 MB in
size. This might help certain students upload their PowerPoints.
A better option though, if you would like people to be able to see the
PowerPoints directly on the page, is to upload the files to a site like http://www.slideshare.net/ . Once you upload it, you should see some
code to copy that will allow you to embed the PowerPoint to your wiki page.
To do this, edit the page, go to the TV icon in the toolbar, and then
down to Other HTML. Paste the embed code in this box, save your embed,
and then save your page.
